Borsalino ‘Siur Pipen’ Limited Edition
“Siur Pipen” – which is the nickname that was given to Giuseppe Borsalino by his fellow citizens – is a reinterpretation in vicuña felt, the finest and rarest fibre in the world, of the iconic medium brimmed hat created by the company’s founder in late 1800s.
The soft peacock blue felt is paired with an elegant hatband in blue Astrakhan with tobacco-coloured piping. It also comes with a bow in grosgrain embossed by the unmistakable golden logo, the traditional signature for the Alessandria hatmaker.
The inside of the hat is hand-finished with a blue inner fedora, grey and tobacco profile. The leather sweatband engraved with the golden Borsalino Antica Casa logo is personalised with the hat’s limited edition number.
